Phillip Khan-Panni
is a champion speaker, trainer and author. He has won the UK championship
of public speaking a record seven times, represented Britain and Ireland
in the World Championships of public speaking three times, and was World
Silver Medallist in 1995. Since 1994, he has provided training in public
speaking, presentation skills, media interview skills, salesmanship and
business writing, as well as creative consultancy in Direct Marketing.
As a Director of 4C International Limited, he focuses on cross-cultural
Presentation Skills and Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) in an international
market.
His expertise is in Marketing and persuasive communication,
both written and spoken, and he has trained senior managers and directors
of such diverse organisations as Delta Airlines, Foote Cone & Belding,
Halifax plc, EuroCongress International, Jardine Matheson, KPMG, Lloyds
of London, Deutsche Bank, Credit-Suisse, Dresdener Kleinwort Benson, Amdahl,
Porsche UK, Barclays Bank, Coca-Cola, Kongsberg Group & Norsk Hydro.
He is the incoming President of the Professional Speakers
Association and Past Chairman of the Croydon & E. Surrey branch of
the Chartered Institute of Marketing. His business background is in Sales
Management, Newspaper Publishing and Direct Marketing. He is author of
five books on communication skills and his latest Communicating Across
Cultures has just been published.
DEBORAH SWALLOW
Deborah Swallow is recognised as one of the finest
trainers in Britain, having won the 1999 National Training Award, the
highest accolade in the business. Much of her working life is spent lecturing
and training in multi-cultural matters, guiding companies in doing business
more effectively across national borders. She is a visiting lecturer on
MBA courses on Comparative Management. Deborah is the author of Culture
Shock Finland, Thriving and Surviving as an International Manager and
has co-authored Communicating Across Cultures with Phillip Khan-Panni.
She is Managing Director of 4C International
Limited, providing cross-cultural training for senior business executives
of international companies and diplomats from around the world. She also
owns one of the few independent stationers in Britain, having taken charge
when the business was failing and successfully rescued it. Deborah is
a professional speaker, and President-Elect of The Professional Speakers
Association of Europe. She speaks on business issues from the point of
view of an entrepreneur. She has trained as an Accountant, her Masters
degree was in Business Development, and her PhD thesis is on the hot topic
of Knowledge Management and Intellectual Capital for international organisations.
